Frequently Asked Questions

It can be very hard sometimes to know who does what when it comes to Public Services so we have listed below the most common questions that are usually asked and what to do about them.

Buckinghamshire County Council has more comprehensive FAQ pages covering a wide range of information which you may like to visit if your question is not answered below. Take me there

1. There is a pothole on my road or other problem with a road. How can I report it?

You can report it online, email tfb@buckscc.gov.uk or call 0845 2302882 with details of the problem and location. Please give as much information as possible on where the pothole is.

2. Who do I speak to about having my relative buried in the Garden of Rest on Four Ashes Road?

If you plan to do this through a funeral director then they will speak to the Parish Council and arrange this on your behalf. If you wish to do this without a funeral director (which is more commonly done when interring ashes) you may contact Hughenden Parish Council directly. More information can be found here.

3. I have noticed a problem with a footpath that I use (overgrown hedges, fallen tree etc). Who can help me?

You can report it online, email tfb@buckscc.gov.uk or call 0845 2302882 with details of the problem and location. Please give as much information as possible on where the problem is.

4. I would like someone to remove a dead animal on the highway.

This is dealt with by Wycombe District Council's Environmental Health Team. Call 01494 421415 or email wastecleansing@wycombe.gov.uk. Ordinarily this will
be carried out within 48hrs of the report
